Rodney has an extensive background and a impeccable reputation in real estate. Starting his real estate career in new home sales, he quickly became recognized as a top Sales Counselor and later a Sales Manager with both local and national home builders. Rodney’s passion of real estate led him to co-author a National Best-Seller “The Ultimate Home Buyers Guide” and clients and local residents voted his team as “The Best Realtors” by Living Magazine in 2013, 2014, 2016 & 2018.
He has been certified as a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Negotiation Expert, Residential Specialist and Sales Professional along with numerous awards and accolades within the industry.
Rodney is a past Agent Leadership Council member for Keller Williams Southwest which is made up of top producers. This dynamic ‘Board of Directors’ is actively involved in the leadership decisions that make the office more productive and profitable thus allowing them to tailor their strategies to thrive in all stages of the market.
Due to Rodney’s previous experience with homebuilders, he teaches action-pack classes for new and seasoned Realtors on understanding homebuilders, the new construction process and how to effectively deal with homebuilders.
Prior to real estate, Rodney founded a company that developed internet based, electronic coupon infrastructure of which was later acquired by IVG Corp. With the shift towards technology in how homes are bought and sold, Rodney’s knowledge and experience in internet technology sector combined with new homes sales brings huge benefits for his clients. His personalized service combined with his state of the art marketing approach is the foundation of the Hamp Teams success.
Rodney and Jennifer have resided in the Sugar Land area for over 30 years and have five children, ages 35 to 20-year-old twins. They are active in their community and attend the Vineyard Church.
